Music celebrities are getting into the vibrant music 2.0 scene i.e. combining music with the web. There has been coverage from 50cents to Dash launching their own social-networking site but if there’s anything hot in music going on, Russell Simmons is there. Known as the “godfather of hip-hop,” Russell Simmons (co-founder of the legendary Def-Jam), along with Navarrow Wright launches Global Grind.

Global Grind is a hip-hop social network where urban users can upload videos, talk about everything hip-hop, and share information with friends. From the site:
