DJKeeno, otherwise known as JR Aquino, is from Anchorage Alaska. He says that he’s been singing since he was “knee-high” JR writes his own lyrics and melodies. He was on American Idol Season 4, and made it to the top 44. His influences are Usher, Marc Antony, and All 4 One. His nominators comment that JR is “hella dope,” with one nominator telling us that every morning when she wakes up, she watches JR’s cover of: “Can’t help but wait.“
