If you like Lifehouse, then Tommy Knox is the Youtube Star to listen to. Tommy is adored by both the men and women of Youtube. One fan writing in her nomination said that she plans on using Tommy’s original song “Love of my life” as her wedding song, while other fans describes him as a “music god,” and their “guitar hero.” Believe it or not, Tommy doesn’t have a vocal coach. He just began singing as a hobby about 7 1/2 years ago and playing the guitar as early as 9 years old. He lists his influences as Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eddie Vedder, and Jack Johnson who Tommy attributes most of his laid back style to.

Every single word that Tommy sings has meaning and every chord stroke lets you feel his music. The majority of his popular songs are the ones about love. He says that “love to [him] isn’t just birds chirping while you frolic in the meadow holding hands,” it can be love for your family and friends as well. The songs aren’t necessarily from what he experiences in life but rather what pops in his head. In fact, he carries a notebook everywhere to jot down the emotions of the moment.

Tommy received over 30 nominations, most of which from Youtube ladies. Listening to his lyrics and singing…it’s not hard to see why. Tommy’s voice is a heartbreaker adored by fans from the UK to the United States.
