Despite room for better recording tools, Maressa Zahirah’s voice quality is distinct especially when you flip through her several videos ( the sound quality for the above song is better on her myspace page). Originally from Singapore, 19-year-old Zahirah began humming and singing to tunes as early as age 3. She is a mix of Portugese/Pakistani/Javanese/Maly. Zahirah tried out for the Singapore Idol and Talent contest and has performed in various events. She is currently a student at South Oklahoma City University. One of her most popular videos is Beyonce’s “Irreplaceable.”
