24-year-old Chris Alvarado was introduced to the acoustic guitar at age 12. Alvarado, from Florida, is a Staff Sergeant in the Air Force. He writes his own music and performs them at local restaurants and venues. He lists his influences as James Taylor, Jewel, and John Mayer. Fans have commented that  Alvarado takes music and makes it his own style, which seems to be a major hit among the Youtubians. The different twist to the music makes the song unique and fresh. One of his most popular videos is the cover of  Wonderwall.
