This is something I haven’t heard in a while, hip-hop played on a violin. Paul has received honorable mention in the 2006 John Lennon Songwriting Competition as well as being a recipient of the ASCAP Heineken Music Initiative 2004 Grant. Paul’s hip-hop abilities on the violin was discovered on Youtube by radio stations and he was given radio airplay on Power 106 and the Pocos Poero Locos Show. His unique style of playing hip hop on the violin has gained him popularity among the Youtubians. Listen to the entire track of this video….until the end where it gets really good at around 4:14, where he starts jamming to “You Drive Me Crazy.” Paul will be appearing on ABC’s I-Caught, a show that highlights the “real stories - reporting on the real people - behind the videos of the millions of us watch and share already.”
