Youtubians have referred to David Choi’s voice as sounding like such artists as John Mayer and Jamie Cullum. This Los Angeles native was the grand price winner of USA Weekend Magazine John Lennon SongWriting Contest for Teens 2004. In addition, he later became the Grand Prize Winner of David Bowie’s Mash Up Contest. David is currently a songwriter/producer for Warner Chappell Publishing as of April 2006. He writes and he can sure sing. Checking out his MySpace page, and listening to his tracks, they are very “pop” and quite catchy. My other favorites from David Choi includes “That Girl” and “If You Were Here,” both can be found on Myspace. You can’t help but get hooked on them. David Foster, move over…there’s a new player in town.
